The Jabra Talk 25 headset is small and practical. This headset includes typical features in the lower price range.

You will give up some physical buttons for voice activation—also a slightly lower quality microphone.
The Jabra Talk 25 is the lower-end unit of the “Talk Series” from Jabra. The main reason is there is only one microphone. The talk time and features are similar to the higher-end models.
A little clunky on the design being boxier than some of the slimmer models and competition. Still, the scores are good, and this is a better than average entry-level headset.
This headset is adequate for most office settings. Please keep reading for our full review.

There is nothing to complain about the headset regarding quality. The ear hooks, however, are lower-end. They remove quickly from the headset. I get the sense these are more of an afterthought. They are not required for the headset to stay in your ear. I tested them out of the box and haven’t used them since. But, if you like ear hooks, there are two sizes included.

I like the fit with the standard eargel. The headset stays in-place during regular activities like walking and moving around in a vehicle. The earhook is an option to assist in holding the headset in place. There is a gap allowing for ambient noise to reach the ear easily.
Jabra includes the Assist app. The features of the App are:
- Connect a new Jabra device (not required)
- Message readout
- Find my Jabra
You do NOT need the App to connect the phone.
Connect a New Jabra Device
The feature of connecting a new Jabra device is a manual is how-to for the various headsets.
The message readout enables you to hear new notifications in your connected headset. The readout has adjustments for speech rate and pitch. A language is also an option with a variety of options.
There are choices on which notifications you want to hear. The two options are calendar and email.
You can choose which calendar, but you have to allow access.
The calendars in the list are from your native IOS app.
When enabled, the App reads the sender’s name and subject out loud. You need to add an email account for this option to function.
Find My Jabra
I am a little disappointed with this feature. Finding the phone requires toggling “Always On” for location services – IOS.
The design and look remind me of a Volvo. Jabra has a good reputation in the market for quality and performance. This guy does deliver on both if the price is a consideration.
